Hot Chocolate Treat

I really should have paid more attention in maths when I went to school...it would have made it a lot easier to work this out...simple as it is!!! Took me ages getting the slot right to hold the tube of mini marshmallows but I got there in the end. The stamp I used is from Slice of Life. And now of course I feel like a hot chocolate!

Perk Up

I haven't had time to do much stamping over the last few weeks so my recent cards have all been cases..this one was inspitred by Nancy Leedy..I love paper piecing the Morning Cup Set and I also love mixing and matching patterned papers!

Lollypop Cutie

My apologies for being awol, I have been cameraless...both the stupid batteries died...I have one on loan till I can get a new one. This is a cute little bonus project we did in class a few weeks ago..everyone loved it and it was so simple to make...we have made several versions of this but it's worth an encore. The flower and leaves are from Petal Pizzazz. The lollypop sits upside down in teh flowerpot with the flower glue dotted to the stick

5th Avenue Floral Rose

I never tire of making these reinker float roses...funny story...I recently taught this technique and because the class was so large I pre embossed the roses...one of the ladies came back the next week and said she had tried it at home and she couldn't make a rose appear...when I asked her what she used to emboss the rose she replied she didn't emboss at all...kinda explains why the rose didn't appear lol...sorry Tammy, Love ya!

Priceless Penny Spinner

I have lost count of how many of these spinner cards I have made but everytime I get a new lady to class they always seem to want to make one...so here is version upteenth! Have to admit, you can't help yourself tipping that card from side to side to see that butterfly spin lol. I have used Pocket Silhouettes and the tiny flower from priceless to stamp the foreground and teh top was embossed with Vintage Wallpaper

Nature Walk

I love the Nature walk set but struggled to make something decent with it..I do however like this one. I embossed the card front with the tulip embossing folder and sponged it with Crumb Cake ink. The bird was stamped with staz on and sponged with Early Expresso and Kraft ink before I cut it out..bit of lace and a few leaves, the fleur di lis from Friends 24-7 and boom! it's done

Totally Tools

Because I suck at blokey cards...this is a case of Jean Diereks...I changed a few things like the sentiment and added the tape measure from Sew Suite. I don't use Totally Tools often enough, it's great for guy cards

Ipod Card

I have cased this card from someone named Niki (sorry that's all that was on the watermark...bit early for Father's Day cards here in Oz but this is challenge 120 over at Late Night Stampers...I have since changed the greeting to Happy Birthday as I no longer have a Dad and my poor husband is techo challenged...so much so that he recently watched a whole movie in Italian because he didn't know how to change the language in the dvd  menu set up lol

Strength and Hope

I used black white and blushing bride for this card but the moth looks a bit washed out, I think I will use a stronger colour next time...the words in this stamp set are beautiful and besides being so apt for breast cancer they also ring true for survivors of abuse...I made a lot more cards today but my stupid camera battery doesn't seem to be keeping its charge...so stay tuned when I upload tomorrow
